Post subject:  Quick advice on HP computer Please
My mum needs a new computer, walked round PC World yesterday and they had just put on the shelf a new model with touchscreen.
It is a really good looking computer with good specs apart from the prosseser (AMD Turionâ„¢ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-52 ) I think it is a 1600 i think :?

Greasy finger marks all over the screen, yyukkkk. Bet it will make your arms ache after a while as well. :wink: Touchscreen is a nice idea, I think mouse is good enough for most things, you are paying over the odds for the touch screen and a pretty average performing machine.

Although its very smart and compact I personally I hate these type of machines my-self, If they go wrong theres virtually sod all you can do yourself, and have to call an engineer in. Its persnal preference really, it does save a few cables...

Yea my gf's got one of these compact type things, but we can't upgrade it for her to play css :evil: And yea, i'd imagine the novelty value of it wearing off rather quickly. Good if you want arms like Mike Tyson though :wink:
