Anyone recommend a nice text editor for windows?

Not notepad lol - some of the files are about a gig :)

i've been using context at work quite a bit, has lots of highlighters with it and you can download others (if its highlighters you're after)

notepad 2 seems ok has various settings for different languages to highlight syntax, dunno about file sizes though.

I'd go for notepad++ too, used to be a big fan of context - but these days it's notepad all the way.

Another one was "VIM", but I can't remember if that is a windows one or not :/

I've just remembered why I got rid of context - it was to do with displaying traditional and simplified chinese characters... it didn't do it, and opening the file cocked it all up.

That's why I went notepad++ only, no other reason. Context is very good.
