I've not got much of a clue about these things but the fan on my motherboard is whining like mad. It's a nforce4-a939 board. The noise does stop from time to time but can get very annoying after a while Any suggestions as to the best way to cure it? |

Not much dust i gave it all a good clean yesterday. It's not a constant noise just every second or two it makes a quick noise. I'll maybe try going further in and cleaning a bit more. |

try moving it around a bit :/ maybe its vibrating on something. if its a little pecky one like intel's then maybe its best to get a big silent fan, i've got one and its dead quiet. |

Lose wires in fan blades? If so easiest way is to grab alot of Cable ties. Really annoying that sound, got me worried soo many times. |
