3G Memory - only showing as 2g in XP

But 3 G in OSX on my new comp. Does XP only see 2G or something????

It seems like theres a problem with the macs and xp, that XP can only see 2gb of ram on the mac. I havent been able to find any fix.

Its basically caued because of the EFI(Replacement for the BIOS)' emulation of the bios, which isnt quite good.

oh well. nvm. BF2 Dcon runs sweet with the new memory - which was all i was after :D the 3G is installed accross 2 ram boards - 2x512 on one and 2x 1g on the other. the 2G ram is new. 2g shows up in physical memory on windows.

I guess 2G is plenty for gaming - i do my other stuff in osx anyway and it's flying along now :D

I run 2gb ram. It runs just nicely! :D
