Post subject:  Vista Memory Management

So i have 4 GB of RAM and recntly i have noticed that Vista is eating away at my RAM, sometimes running idle it might use 900MB, sometimes 1300MB. When running source could run to 1900MB. Just think that there should be someway of regulating the memory, any suggestions?

Tryied turning all the advanced graphics functions off and see if that reduces it. Windows always has been one to grab as much memory as possible in order to save time laoding from the hard drive when you do want to do anything.. :?

Might be the superfetch thing, It preloads applications you use alot into memory:
