I got NOD 32 which is up to date, they are OK in Icon, list and detail view, its just tiles and thumbnail view where they show up corrupted...

Well that bug went away after installing a security update, still think they are related problems to the user32.dll issue which I still got.

is your shell32.dll ok. I think thats where these icons are stored, I guess it could be related tothe borked MS update |

Well... all sorted I installed a security patch for hhctrl.ocx then the patch Goldie linked to in her post: http://forum.gamecommunity.co.uk:8080/viewtopic.php?t=39949. So everythings dandy again..... for now..
