Right my pc wouldn't boot up for about two hours, it kept hanging on bios.

So i up plug my ipod and it boots up the first time! anyone got a idea whats happening there ?

Check in bios to see if it is set to boot from usb device

^^ yeap, if u have a usb device plugged in it will prob try boot off of it so turn that option off

cant remember why or which ones, but i know it is a limitation of some chipsets that they will not start (or have great difficulty) when a usb hard drive is connected.

gets confused about the boot order and hangs. a mate of mine had the same thing. nothing you can do except understand it and un-plug your usb drives (flash is fine iirc)

Have a simialir problrem with a coupla pc's to do with a USB drive like that, I either get a disk error, which windows wants to check pre boot, or it says disc space has changed, just something to do with the drives I guess.
