Ok i will try to explain without rambling My friend let his mate go on his laptop that i had jsut sorted out and got running again to "download a program that was essensial to the running of the computer" (zone alarm). However there was alredy security software on the laptop and he didnt get rid before. Now you cant do anything with it, it wont connect to the internet or anything (guess they must be conflicting with each other). when you try to uninstall either of the security programs it says something like other programs are using the monitor program. the other security system is virgin medias own. can anyone give me some info on how to solve this problem. There are no previous system restore points and the widows disc has been lost |

then uninstall one of them?mebe that'll work Problem is that the to kill a security product, you dont just need to end its process, but kill its driver aswell. Thats why its so hard to get rid of norton! |
