I've bought 2 Toshiba 4gb SD cards from 7dayshop, and when I whack them into my card reader/writer, it gives me a popup which say's I/O error, could someone tell me how to solve this? Thanks |

crap ive just ordered a couple of micro SD cards from there. Hope they dont do the same thing. Not sure about a solution to your prob though. Can you try and format them through Windows - make them FAT |

I've just tried them on my printer, which has MMC, SD, CF, XD, the lot on it, and that gave me "Card Read Error" So I'm gonna email 7dayshop about it, see what they say.... |

Thats probably it, I think 2 and 4GB can be SD or SDHC and 8GB is always SDHC. Not sure you get to choose the type when ordering the dirt cheap 7dayshop ones. Tme to get a 11 in 1 reader, sorry I mean 12, no wait its 13, 14 now... |

some card readers can't read the bigger sizes (my mp3 player can only read sd cards up to 1gb so the 2gb card i had was useless ) maybe that's the problem with your cards aswell? |
