Post subject:  4GB RAM not working properly

So i have been using 3GB up till now and as it happens i swapped 1 Gb for 2, anyway, i have a matched pair of corsair select RAM and a matched pair of Kingston RAM, both are 667 RAM, both dual channel, im using Vista 64 ultimate.

The problem is that when i put in 4GB it detects in the bios and shows up on the bios load screen, but it takes about 4 mins to boot into vista and then once in vista it says my CPU is using 100% and vista is almost unresponsive, i have no idea what could be the problem, i have the latest windows updates, latest bios version. Anyone know what to do?
