I will have 2gb of ram in my new computer, this is perfect for now however in the future what should i do if i want to add more ram??
I know you are meant to put it in in pairs but should you have the same brand?? or the same size?? would it be ok to have 2x1gb in with 2x512mb???? I am pretty new to upgrading so any help would be very well received :D

Unless you've overclocked it, you should be fine with different makes.

As to pairs/sizes just follow what the spec of the mobo says it's capable of

vista 64 is the only os that would need over 2 gig and i think if you have over 3 gig on any other you will get problems (so i hear).

also if you want it to run in duel channel they need to be matched pairs.
