Gents, some plonker at work as downloaded nero ...... but it has an embeded trojan within ..... will the antivirus get rid of the trojan or will i have to delete the whole of nero
please dont just reply with " i would just delete it" as thats not the answere to the question

All depends on the virus and how good your anti-virus program is tbh.
Easiest/most secure = format and re-instal from last clean back-ups.

A trojan is technically classed as a Virus if I remember correctly isn't it? My anti-virus always picks them up etc... So presumebly an anti-virus would work.

Possibly, but just removing it is the eassiet and safest bet.
