any got some that work? the new ones work fine for the OS, the minute i put any stress on the card it dies and gives me like 7fps on a 3dmark test. reading on the net thats there is no end of problems getting the dam things to work with vista and you just have to find a driver that works. currently ive got he newest ones |

it would seem that the last 2 driver releases are not without problems if the ones you have now, work, then keep 'em i think on my pc at home, i've gone back to the 94.71 for the second time in as many months |

when u install drivers make sure you uninstall, then use driver cleaner, then.... install new ones after a restart... then restart |

im using 163.44 and it seems to run ok for some apps. css, etqw, bioshock, c&c3 all work good with good framerates. but dc and cod2 I have graphical glitches. menus start up fine but as soon as the game tries to load it crashses to desktop and I have to Alt-Tab a random number of times to actually get into a game. as soon as the map loads changes I crashes to desktop and I have to start again. |

The one I linked to are official for WinXP. And I haven't actually got round to installing them yet, lol. As for the uninstall and use driver cleaner... never done that before. Uninstall and always reinstall... but never used driver cleaner. EDIT: Sorry, thought I was in this post clicky |

problem solved, crisis over, disaster averted. moral of the story is make sure you plug in both gfx power supplies even if your using only one card |
