i believe my graphics card is beginning to stress when it gets around 59-62 degrees c .... so i would like to get a graphics card cooler... having already cleaned out all the dust and re-applied the thermal paste with no long term success....
Do u get specific graphics card fans? like arctic cooler ? or just any old fan??

Dunno exactly what your looking for have a look at Antec V-cools....or something to that extent, you can get exhaust ones which get rid of hot air from your card and blow out the back of the case or intake ones which bring in cool air and blow it into your card
Might be gettin the wrong end of the stick but they can give you about 10 degrees off

If you have reasonable case cooling, Zalmans are cooler than a penguins pyjamas and quiet.
If you don't have reasonable case cooling - that's your problem in the first place

I use a couple of Zalman flower type for this purpose and they work really well. I get pretty reasonable GPU overclocks as the ram sinks are cooled well also.

i've got a 7900gt.. stock heatsynch for the processor.. it is noisy as fook though...
and my case is the antec sonata 2... i dont use the 'vent' thing that came with it i just dont believe it works...ventalation looks ok and its a reasonably large case..
i think the problem is more the room temperature because the heat generated from the lights and the radiator makes the room quite stuffy at time and there's not much air getting to it...
are these flowercoolers 'cpu coolers?'
if ur recommending getting a new cpu cooler i need socket am2 :

oh dear....
If its anything like the stock cooler on my 7900GT, you'll want a nice zalmaan flower cooler (model number 5900 or summat? ebuyer it), works a treat.
