Trying to get a ventrilo/teamspeak server set up, can't get owt out of it though. As far as I can work out I have two ips...one starting 131.xxx.xxx.xxx, and one starting 172.xxx.xxx.xxx....I've also got hamachi running on everything but can't even connect using that. I'm guessing there's some port blocking going on here (though I thought that that wouldn't be a problem using hamachi?), any sneaky workarounds?

[edit] the 172.xxx.xxx.xxx ips are the only ones I can get ping responses off, I can't on the 131.xxx.xxx.xxx, and I can't off the hamachi 5.xxx.xxx.xxx but thats because you have to buy the pro version of hamachi to do pings

Dont know if you could do it the same way I've got onto irc in uni, is there a java based/other version of vent?

depends how much acess you have through the uni's network, you might be able to proxy it...

unless they have update you'll probablly need another program to actually get the program through like Sockscap or other socks program... erm i think i have a copy of sockscap somewhere.
