Post subject:  re installing windows 95 on an old comp

my mate wants to do as the title say. It's been that long since ive formatted my hard drive that i cant remember how to do it, ive also heard that theres a few ways of doing it? Any guides, tips etc?

p.s. please keep it simplish people!

Dont forget the dubious pleasure of installing drivers for "everything", and setting up the sound-card. Even need drivers for the cd-drive on '95 if i remember correctly :P

If it's an original install CD he just needs to boot from C and follow the prompts :thumbr:

Driversguide.com should have all the drivers he needs, although to be honest he'd be better off installing Win98. Any reason why he's not runing it in a virtual machine? Vmware server is free and runs on XP, linux, etc....
