probably a simple answer,my mate bought a second hand computer,basically the memory is full (0% free space),the person who had it before never cleared the recycle bin,but the recycle bin is not on the desktop,there is that much crap on his pc i couldnt find the bin,tried searching for it in the search option on start screen,any ideas,i was trying to search for it by typing in recycle bin,it must be there somewhere.also any good programs to see what software his pc has,so i can see what mobo is in it to see if he can add more memory,,thanks mark |

To be honest just wipe it, god knows whats on there. Could be key loggers or anything. |

aye, just format the drive and reinstall the os  but for the bin, try this: Quote: Try right-clicking your desktop and selecting "properties." On the window that comes up, select the "desktop" tab, then click "customize desktop." On the next window, select "recycle bin (full)" and click "restore default," then repeat with "recycle bin (empty)."
