Vistas alright, still got a lot of issues with it. (I've got xp on desktop and vista on lappy) Going to change the lappy over to xp or linux soon though, all the little annoyances have just racked up for me.
-Edit- Also apparently vista 64 is a lot better than 32
As for 32 and 64 bit, not really sure on everything but I believe 64 bit xp allows you to make use of more than 2gb of memory. Again not really sure so might be wrong.

I will have to get a copy of 64-bit Vista soon to run Quad SLi properly 9 out of 10 people I talk to revert to XP, even my cousin the ardent M$ worshipper As for the 1* out of 10... Certain games are 'crashed out of' rather than 'closed'. *Stand up and be counted GenP

I spend a lot of time converting peoples pcs from vista to xp. I think xp is faster, more stable and more compatible.Just stick with sp2. dont bother with xp3. there always seems to be a program or 2 that wont work with vista.and you can always just use style xp and make it look like vista if you want Is you want to upgrade, i suggest you wait for window 7, it will be what vista should have been
