Got mirrors edge for the pc today, installed it all, turned the res up to 1920X1080 which appears to be unsupported by my apparently HD tv. my problem is, it didn't do the thing that every game ive ever used does when you change the res, and automatically change back if you don't click accept. now i can't see anything except a black screen with a big unsupported message in the middle soo i have no way to get it back to a supported resolution. ive even tried reinstalling but it's still at 1920X1080 any suggestions?? ---------------- Now playing: Mauro Picotto - Lizardvia FoxyTunes

just had a thought. i can hear whats happenig, just cant see it, soo if anyone has mirrors edge on xbox or pc (same menu system, theres just a few more settings within the video options) you could maybe give me directions into the video menu i can hopefully turn the res down by hearing the noises of the menu moving if that makes any sense? ---------------- Now playing: DJ Simmi - BounceKore Vol.1via FoxyTunes

You tried reinstalling?
Try uninstalling the game, then (is this on the PC?) run something to clean the registry of old keys and ensure that all the directories for the game are removed (including in your "my documents" as games may create some user specific settings in a directory under this path).
Then install again.

I also had this problem on steam when i was home for xmas.
The TV goes "Out of Range", games dont generally change back from resolution changes. I just used "set launch options" for the game and set the res you can get for that tv.

99% of the time there's a line in a config file that holds your resolution, you can edit it and save the file and it should start up with those settings
