ok well...seeing as our cs server is down i found another one to play on...and i was playing on it fine last week with a ping of about 126...but, this week my ping has been around 200! and i dont know why, i spoke to one of the admins through steam and he said somethin about checking ''hops''. well im not tech smart and ran the search and got a bunch of results but i dont know what it all means. the server ping limit is 150, so i cant play on it at all

And i dont know why my ping has shot up so much

can anyone help me? lol its a uk sever btw, so i know my ping will be higher, always has been around 99-120 or so on our servers, just dont know why its so high all of a sudden

hops is the number of routers it goes though to get to a place
to many things affect lag to post atm - hic

but then when i ping'd our server, it was in the 120's as average....and this other one is based out of south london i think i was told so i dont understand why its so slow bah stupid computers..

o...and when i type our server ip into steam to find any games playing at that address it says that server is not responding is there a diff ip maybe that im typing in wrong?
