Post subject:  Help me before I hunt down the creators of l4d and kill them
right,
about 90% of the f'ing time I connect to a f'ing left 4 dead server I get disconnected with a "lost connection to server" after around 10-20 seconds of play.
I've read pages upon pages trying to solve this problem, I've routed ports for Steam and left 4 dead, both on windows and the silly bt home hub, I've disabled both the firewalls, I've even installed it on windows 7 and it did the same...

Please help me :x

Can I ask the obvious by saying, have you patched the game and if so, is it the latest version?

Theres some notoriously bad servers out there bud, some nights it's takes us ages to find a decent one to host a game on. :smile:

all games bought through steam are auto patched (i think :scratch: )
