if they're both vista or both xp, crossover cable should do the trick, stick the stuff in a shared folder, and copy it from the shared folder on the other machine. if one is vista and one is xp...use google, i cant be arsed ---------------- Now playing: Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 via FoxyTunes |

Loaded up my external drive ,pluggewd in to lap top and as i try to up load on to it i get "The request could not be performed becauseof an I/O device error." What does this mean ??? |

the drivers for your harddrive aint working right on your laptop, or its your usb drivers could be dodgey? |

What does this mean ??? it means it wasnt FTW drivers mate...whats the brand?... oh...and you might get problems if the usb lead is too long...thats if its a usb powered drive... |

Yeah I get that with my Lacie if both usb leads arnt plugged in, (one is just for power) |
