Ok, I tried to format my Laptop hard-drive Windows Parition (20GB) and it stops at 21%.

I've tried this in both Window installer and I've also plugged the HDD into my main PC to format it but the same thing happens. All the data from the other partition is there and accessable, but it just won't pass 21% on the Windows Partition... any ideas?

I'm thinking maybe the partition needs to be redone (I did this in windows install CD too, but I'm thinking it might be useless..?)

Basically... I had the laptop on standby one day, and turned it back on, BSOD... Kept BSODing on bootup and restarting... (system files corrupt..? Wtf..? Why..?) either way... Any ideas? I'm trying to do a complete format of that partition.

Have you tried running a disk check on the drive? Sounds like it could be damaged..

Yep done all that (eventually..) its not like it even gets used much which is why this is so annoying... And its 1.25 years old. But like I said... I don't use it that often.. So I can't understand what this problem is? I don't cover my vents and let it overheat etc so thats not an issue..
