my wifes laptop is playing up ,i can get on to msn home page but when i try to get on "google/facebook/here"

all i get is a screen full of "000%%^&&""£$OO///'';;

what settings do i have to change??

Start -> control panel -> add or remove programs -> add/remove windows components

oooor try just try dl the latest IE

Click Reset - Internet options - Programs - Reset web settings.

Or if that don't work.

Install Firefox

Install add-on PlainOldFavorites https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/668

Remove Bookmarks from menu Add #bookmarksToolbarFolderMenu { display: none !important;} to your userChrome.css file in you profile.

Install IE scheme https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4988 or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4583
