internet and network conking out on my machine randomly..??

I'm optimistic that I've solved it - apparently it might be AVG going crazy.... so i uninstalled it and I am waiting .... time will tell

well its now like day 3 and no problem - AVG was the problem -so its now uninstalled - virus killers are a waste of time until you actually get infected anyway.... they are not very preventative enough without hogging your system resources so that games become unplayable etc.... I've not had any viruses or spyware detected in the past 6 months anyway so it'll be right.

i found the latest AVG actually hogged so much resources i couldnt even run cod4 (which my pc should do easily) once uninstalled... pc handled bfbc2 without a problem on medium settings (which it should only be able to do on minimum... mind i am running in DX 9 :cry: )
