Ok so far I've screwed in the mobo, PSU (not attached wires yet but should be easy), I've also plugged in the CPU (was terrified of breaking it when I put down the metal bar to tighten it against the motherboard...didn't feel natural....

As soon as I get this done then I'm good to go........i hope.....

i had it fitted in five minute.... the h100 that is...

yes...remove the case fan... put the h80 fan in its place...

the back cross shape plates alignes with the four socket holes...... (rear of mobo)
the plate will hold itself in place when the 4 stands off are through the mobo holes properly..
secure the cooler with the 4 stand off legs which have equal screw threads on either side of the stand off.
use the four thumb 'nuts to secure the cooler.... (tighten these acroos axis...

so counting round the cooler...1,2,3,4 tighten 1,3,2,4 untill hand tight.

job done

well I did it but it needed 2 people.... those screws don't give you much length to play with at all....... how 1 person can do that alone is beyond me.....
