ages sine i did anything like this so anyone done it recently

mate pulled out a usb caddy with a IDE disk in as it was writing, now everything has disapeared.

last time i looked you used to have take the disk out of the cadfdy and plug the drive into a IDE slot, you then needed another drive to recover to.

still the same?

Might work if it's not too corrupted. I use "recover my files" to access badly corrupted drives that are too damaged to just plug in, but it's not free, but i'm sure you could find a copy if you look.

cant you find a hooky copy of Ontrack anywhere?

i.e. on a Hiren disk :D
