got a free tube of IC Diamond 24 carat paste, so thought i'd have a day and put it on everything i can, a basic i3-330m laptop and a desktop with a 4670k cooled with a H60 and two gigabyte windforce 7970s in crossfire. Have done before and after temps, the ambient temp was kept at 22 degrees via an air con ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- results of 4570k on a h60 with stock paste ![]() i3-330m Sony vaio laptop ![]() 7970 Windforce 3x ![]() Some good looking results there, all dropped which is good! *update* after leaving the furmark and prime running for a few hours this is the result! A HUGE 10 degree drop now on gpu and 4670k idle down to 28!! So this definatly looks like you need to leave it running hot for a while to let it set in. 7970 ![]() 4670k/H60 ![]() |
