I still want a Ps3 with 2 good games of my choosing.

Do Ps3's play all formats of videos like compressed xvid avis, mpeg2, mp4, avi's, mkv etc?

I don't need it for freeview related functions.

What are the problems associated with replacing the HDD? Do you copy the games on to the console to make it load faster or something?

Still looking for a good price. I might get my mate to buy me one with his staff discount at Currys, and before the rate of VAT goes up.

How do we predict the prices will change over the next month?
