NEVERMIND ABOUT THIS SERVER! IM GOING FOR A NEW WORKSTATION INSTEAD.
Im gonna go for:
5000+ x2 Athlon
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe
2gb DDR2 ram
Some 7900 graphics card.
Im to find a graphicscard.. Dont know which.
Any suggestions? I have been looking at the XFX Extreme cards.. They are beasts. yet expensive.

Yes indeed. You dont spare much money, by getting a cheap server. I want to have a server that works for the next 5 years.
Its gonna stream media, and other stuff. So the bigger the better.

Why do you need a 7900 for a server?

is a over kill as well for a media server - you have a racing car`s engine of a cpu and stick in a ford escorts geabox - sata raid
save your money on the cpu / mobo / high end mem and get a decent raid setup not a software one - for the record your ide/sata raids are software

Good luck SLI'ing that 7950 - as far as I'm aware you can't SLI a pair of 7950's (yet - I believe it's a software issue)
The 7950 is a dual card and you'll see - when you get it - it will mask off the slot adjacent - if you've got 2x PCI-E slots side by side then you're screwed as you won't be able to jam them in...)
I could be wrong here ( not the most technically adept mind PC wise) so do some more research before you shell out the huge amount of cash for that second 7950.
imho, one is enough.
