I'm after a surround system for relatively little but I want decent quality (a high volume isn't that important). At the moment I have no clue which one to get and I don't know if my mobo's internal sound is good enough to link it to. Asus A8V Deluxe is the mobo and I think its sound chip is 7.1 surround. Another issue is I need to be able to switch between speakers and headphones relatively easily. (at the mo I have both plugged in and I just turn the speakers off). Help meeee! |

trust 5.1 heaphones have base station with sockets for 5.1 systems, at the swithc of a button you can go between them /mute/on/off. pwnage. |

I think im being greedy with 5.1 A decent 2.1 system with a headphone socket will prolly do just fine. |

These I got for bout £100 in a bundle and believe me theyre worth the money(and surprising bought it cheapest at PC World........i was amazed) Neway now that theyre a bit old maybe X-Fi is worth gettin instead but if you only want 5.1 and arent thinkin of upgrading to 7.1 then I think these are a decent pair of speaker/souncard bundle that isnt too expensive Good Luck with ur buying! PS They have an easy to reach headphone jack on volume control for easily switching between speakers and phones(as do all creative speakers I think?) |
