Looking to by a tent for under £100.. the less cost the better. Found this site: http://www.tents-direct.co.uk/dome_tents.php?minBerth=3&maxBerth=3 Anyone know what are better tents and worse ones.... |

Have you a camping shop you can get to? I've found it pays to have a look at them in person. Decent stitching and how they go up is usually the key. Failing that - spend your cash on an uber 4seasons sleeping bag, that way, when you wake up to find your tents somewhere near the next field across - you won't care |

I had a single layer tent last time which was crap... Defianatly will get one with a full flysheet this time... They have got nice 3D images of the tents on Blacks site even if there a little expensive.. Probably go to Millets, they got bigger range in my style. http://www.millets.co.uk/ . I basically can't afford to make a mistake..... |

what are you goin to use the tent for as well, fair weather camping, festivals or all year. Loot quiet a good place to look you can pick up some right second hand bargains from there. |

don't forget weight issue. you never know when you might actually hike with it. lighter the tent = more expensive......worth it though. |

I went to a Bikers rally one Febuary, it was so cold I could barely get the pegs in with out bending em cos of the frost. I think I slept in my leathers. btw my tent was about £40 from millets. |
