I've decided that my computer needs to be kept cooler and quieter than it is currently...
I've already been reccomended vigorusly the P180 case so I'll get that, but is there anything that is a definate must?
I've been thinking of:
Graphics card cooling
RAM heatsinks
chipset cooling
CPU Fan
Hard drive cooling
extractor exhausts
I've been told with the p180 I wont need the extractor exhausts or the hard drive cooling by 3of5.
If anyone hasnt done their good deed for today, could someone put together a cooling kit for me as I dont really have a clue.
Dont want to go watercooling though...
Preferably from http://www.epcbuyer.com as well.
Cheers

i recomend the Zalman 7700Cu for your cpu,
very good cooling and quite.
ram heat sinks are going to gain you vert little, so i wouldnt bother.

the VF700 (zalman agian) for the GPU is great
i have passive chipset, you can get a bigger heatsink, but it aint worth getting a fan on it in most cases
only get passive HDD coolers, if you've set up your case well then there will be enough airflow to cool the HDD.
and exhaust...well, again, aint really worth it.
120mm at the front, 120 mm at the back, and tidy cables, and those should be the only case fans you'll need

h4xttp://thecoolingshop.co.uk/
Have a bigger range/stock than most places if the ebuyer place doesnt. cheap postage too.
I'd recommend an arctic silencer for your gpu, it takes up another slot though. I dont know what card you have, but they have them for most cards: h4xttp://www.thecoolingshop.com/index.php/cPath/98_3
Scroll down for the arctic silencer ones
Also, get a few 120/140 mm fans, as they can move more air at lower RPM= less noise.
And use arctic silver 5 for all the heatsinks, drops temps by about 2-3º than the crappy stock stuff. And its 99.9% silver Makes everything more expensive

Still think you should go for an arctic silencer
Most of the time it comes with thermal paste, sometimes already applied, but a small tube of AS5 will do your CPU and your GPU with still loads to spare, and i think small tubes are like £3-4.

So I just need to buy the p180, the fans and a small tube of silver paste?

Arctic cooling for CPU
I use a ninja scythe so I can run it without a fan. But the Artic Freezer series gets good reviews.
Sharkoon fans (Silent eagle series - not the shitty light versions)
As for the Zalman fatality VGA coolers they're very noisy But do keep stuff cooler than Slayer with a wrist band
I'd use the sharkoon fans for inlet and outlet exhaust, that way you can get the most out of passive cooling
I use an AKASA fan controller as well so I can turn my CPU fan to silent and control inlet/outlet and VGA. But The taco isnt accurate on mine

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940)
The Pro range features a low speed 92 mm fan reducing the noise level to a minimum. The patented fan holder is able to practically eliminate the typical buzzing sound of 92 mm fans. 6 Heat Pipes (three used double sided) are able to transfer heat up to 200 Watt. The heat exchanger is built of 42 fins and consists of a surface area of over 4700 cm2 and allows for resistance free energy transfer to air. Air is drawn in from the side of the fan to cool the components around the CPU. Some air is blown out towards the voltage converters on the mainboard with the bent fins at the bottom.
- Heat Sink: 104 x 58 x 126.5 mm
- Fan: 107 x 43.5 x 96 mm
- Overall Dimensions: 107 x 96.5 x 126.5 mm
- Rated Fan Speed: 2200 RPM
- Power Consumption: 0.16 Amp.
- Air Flow: 40 CFM / 68 m3/h
- Weight: 528 g
- Noise Level: 0.8 Sone
- Thermal Resistance: 0.18°C/Watt
£17.57
Yay or nay?
And would this:
