Can anyone recommend a joystick for BF2, I got it 2 days ago and just couldnt fly a Jet with my mouse, or an helicopter for that matter. I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Plug and Play Gamepad that I got with a pc years ago but everytime I try to get the game to let me use the d pad for turning it says it cant do it cus its been used elsewhere but I cant see where :?

So I assume a joystick would be better :?:

So....gimme some suggestions please.

Thanks :)

best thing to do mate is buy one from PC world: try it and if it doesn't work, take it back.
No questions asked

I did some scouting amongst BF2 players on my MSN list and they suggested I gave the Logitech Wingman Attack 2 joystick as thats what they use but its no longer for sale, there is a new version out now called Logitech Attack 3.

So I checked PCWorld as suggested above and they got it in for £19.99 so I did some more scouting as I know what PC World are like with prices so I try and avoid them.

Anyway my local computer store has some in stock for £16.25 including VAT! so I just saved my self some pennies. When bus fares and whatever are taken into consideration I have saved alot more than 3 quid or so.

The website for the joystick can be found here
