This is the card i'm getting, what do you think? Is one make better than the other? If so which would be best to go for?
Also read a bit about these cards and they advise that I may have to do a BIOS update, is that hard to do?? :? Never done anything to me BIOS before. :)

If me MB isn't good enough I was gonna get this but again not sure which is best out of the two?

i wouldnt get that mate, far to much

get a 7900GT for about £185
ok its not as good but it will play everything for 2 years and is only say 15% - 20% slower than the £370 quid card

i think thats alot of money for such a small diff to me - in real terms can you see the diff between 200fps and 170fps?

by the time comes that you have to upgrade the cheap card i recomend, the 370quid card will only be in the same boat - missing all the new vertex shaders etc etc they will come out over the next 2 years

I'd hold off until direct x10 came out before buying any expensive cards. Unless you are really suffereing performance wise, i'd just wait a bit longer. Still running me old 9800 pro over here :)
The newest cards always come crashing down in cost after a few months or so as well, it'll lose half it's value within a year - and like they say, you won't be able to tell the difference in most games between that card and another one which is half the price - as nothing out there is that intensive at the moment (afaik).
