Current:

Cpu: AMD XP 2400+
Ram: 1GB PC2700 DDR-333
IDE Hard Drives: Primary: 120Gb Seagate Barracuda ATA-100 Secondary: 250Gb Maxtor
MB: ASUS A7V333
Video: Galaxy GF 6800 with Artic cooler - OC 25Mhz(Was GF3 Ti 200 64Mb) AGP

3DMark03: 8126

Want to upgrade this to get a bit more oomph, but as cheap as possible, a stop gap before I go all the way to PCI-E which I can't aford. Gaming I'm not to bothered about but need it more for Photoshop and Apps. I can get a IDE to SATA convertor for the Hard drives..

Been looking at Ebay but not really sure what to buy...

Have another way that doesnt mean PCI graphics but means you need to get most of the rest of the compatible parts but keep the still brilliant 6800GT.

AGP AM2 Mother board £39.94

AMD X2 3800 £92.81

2GB DDRII RAM £166.83

Well decided to go down Intel route in the end, after many years with AMD :( :

Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 1.86ghz Lga775 Fsb800 2mb Retail Boxed £116.06 Inc. VAT

Image

and

ASRock 775DUAL-VSTA SKT 775 VIA PT880Pro/ultra with conroe support AGP PCI-E 7.1 channel audio ATX - 36.99 inc VAT

Image

Not sure how much boost I will get but should help a bit. Cheep and cheerful. :)
