How much ram do you have at the moment in your pc?

I think 512 for a GFX card is enough, dunno what the actual card is like though.

Sounds right enough, friend of mine has the sameish set up.

Ran the RC version of vista when it came out...looks visually stunning. :)

Yours 64-bit or dual core?

Or both? lol

er.. im at college just now but ill have a look when i get home for it.

Just checks your pc and tells you what you should uninstall before vista - ie deamon tools and what not.

Then tells you what package suits your system best.

Hmmm 2GB of system ram sounds good, but if you want more its your choice :D

Good luck in finding some.

the only gain you will get is in dx10 games, of which there are none...

imo wait till crysis and the such come out, then upgrade, that way you get the fastest card you can for your money, when it counts.

unless you have too much money its not really worth getting the TOTR card....there's only a limeted number of 8x00 cards, so you cant even get a slightly less powerfull 8800 (ie the 7900GT to the 7900GTX)....

Yeah best wait until at least the middle of the year unless you play games on a 24" monitor or above and are desperate for 16x AF and AA

Says he who has just purchased a 8800GTS but ivejust upgraded my whole system.
