Looking for a significant sound quality upgrade from my HD202's. I'm looking at Sennheiser, in perticular, the HD485's the HD515's. has anyone had any experience with these as I'm just going off a couple of review sites. Cheers |

i can vouch for the 5x5 range, excellent sound quality, very very comfortable for long usage....disadvantage and advantage is that they are open headphones = you can make them very noisy without putting too much pressure on your ears (its like a pair of speakers I tell ya), but everyone else can hear it, and when there is no noise coming form the 'phones, you can hear stuff outside... |

why stfu? there amazing headphones......nothing compares to the sound quality they pump out.even at full whack ppl in the room wont be able to hear it. |

thats not a good thing at all - that just means its your ears taking the full brunt of the noise and getting slowly pulversied 
Sennheisers more than compare, and when you consider how (relatively) cheap they are.... |
