since my dad only uses his pc for simple things, i think he'll be fine with just another stick of ram, but his pc in general is rather slow..

this is the ram according to CPU-Z

Quote:
DDR

pc2300 (142mhz - max bandwith)

256mb single slot

im useless at looking for hardware so can someone help us look for another stick of the same ... or compatible ram please... will be much appreciated

well the motherboard info would possible be of greater help.

it takes DDR, trying to match the stick could be very hard, and probabily best just to buy 2x256 set (or even 2x512) but i cant say what speed as i dont know what the mobo can take.

as pc2300 is to old to find (i would have though), you may have to buy faster and deal with it running slow.
