well i work at comet part time atm, and using all the ones in store the tomtom is the best, best model for you would be the tomtom GB, its cheap and works great as a basic satnav. My dad uses a cracked tomtom software on his PDA, and weve used that on long journey's and works great.

As for ease of use the tomtom again wins, all touch screen control, and has an easy to use, simplistic interface. So any daft cow can use it.

Sales pitch over

These things are dropping in price..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Navman-F20-Car-Satellite-Navigation/dp/B000IM3HY6 - £112

Free subscription and you can get traffic add-on for about £40.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-ONE-Great-Britain-GPS/dp/B000I0Q3JE/ref=pd_sbs_ce_1/202-0742448-0499027 - £149

Not sure about the subscription costs though..

Which one is best?
