Bit bored of in-ear malarky, and was looking at a pair of open sennies to wear while I'm bikeing with my mp3 player or phone. I've had a look at these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-PX-100-PX100-Headphones/dp/B00009QH7P/ref=pd_bbs_6/203-5154765-3194349?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1181423189&sr=8-6 Which seem alright, I've had a listen to a pair a friends got and I can only fault them on slight lack of bass, which I could whack up on my mp3 player/phone. Anyone got any other suggestions? NB I dont want to spend more than £30 on portable headphones ![]() I dont want in-ear headphones I dont want massive headphones I dont want them to look like I'm either wearing it to re-enforce structure of my skull or that I am a part of technical support. Thanks |

Sorry for no suggestions really....have you tried maybe those clip onto ear ones? (Basically like in ear except not and slightly bigger) Maybe also just behind the head ones? Saw some nice sort of see through ones that would stay on during biking etc....no links though. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-PMX4 ... 49&sr=8-47 or http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-5005 ... 96&sr=8-12 these ones. since you will be using them for cycling. you will of course be wearing a helmet i hope. therefore you need behind the head ones. i had the bottom ones on your list and they did the job well. but the others look nice. the closed back pair may perform better on a bike - in terms of bass - but remember that you'll want to hear a warning shout from the dick pedestrian thats about to step out - so the open back pair may be better for safety. better to be safe than get caught up in this primitive brain thought loop, post accident...* *this post was brought to you by the letter S** Good: ![]() Bad: ![]() **S stands for Safety* (goto*) |
