heres my rundown i aint played the PS3 so i cant comment Wii. Its good, very for the first month, i personally found it started to lose its appeal after that, however if you have lots of people to play it with then i can see it having much mroe longetivity, also lots of good games coming out soon Xbox. Awesome, only way of putting it, the huge game selection is awesome and they have real gems like crackdown (which is aaaaawesome btw, spiderman with guns) also a very promising future game line up, and also now comes with 3 year warranty for any overheating probs hope it helps XD |

tbh Crackdonw is more like GTA with super powers. I would say either PS3 or 360 depending on how much you are wishing to spend. If price is no bother get the PS3, although there arent as amny games out on it you could just wait then get them when they are out. If Price is an issue then get a 360. There is a large selection of games already avilable, and the console it self plus games arent as expenive as the PS3 and games will be |

i'd say you and alex have a fine time playing games on the pc......and a wii complements that better: you'd have a right laugh playing against each other.....which is where the wii excels. if its fancy fast 1player gaming you want - go for either of the others. |

Depends for whom your buying, for the serious teenage gamer who enjoys online play flashy gfx ect, get a 360 but for universal appeal and something that will be entertaining at all times for all ages, get the Wii, the range of game is superb and the whole system is a fraction of the price of the other two. Here endeth my two-cents on this topic |

Personally, I haven't played any of the new consoles. But yeah, I understand their background. Wii - Group Fun, not a console you could play all day long after the first couple months. Oh.. and I sure hope you like your TV in one piece, lol. If you do play games (such as bowling), I'd superglue that controller to your hand, unless you wanna pay for a TV. XBox360 - Cheap and crappy, I hear of countless 360s frying up, it's just an expensive cooker with eyecandy in my opinion, they're basically expensive cookers, personally, I wouldn't touch one with a pooey barge pole, unless it was stupidly cheap (like... given to me cheap..). But the games are at a reasonable price. Playstation 3 - New Hardware, could potentially create alot of problems due to how new it is (look back at the PS2, I think they released a PS2 Rev. 12 or something... then onto the slimline which was the most reliable of course.) And the games are expensive, there also isn't a wide range, but some of the features for the PS3 you may like. Overall, I'd rather wait a year, let Sony sort all the issues that are likely to occur with the PS3, by then the price will drop to a reasonable price and buy one. By this time there would be a wider variety of games out If you don't want a console mainly for group fun, go with the 360, unless you see something you really like for the PS3. |

Isn't this worthy of a poll? Or has skrunk used up all the polls for the month? I dont own any consoles (well a ps2 is dusting aways somewhere...) But, I can say the 360 is great around my mates house/s, and when you get angry at them pwning you you can lob the controller at them Although all next gen consoles have wireless controllers, so thats not really an advantage anyway.... Is dead rising exclusive to 360? If so, buy a 360 for that reason alone... |

check the specs man, i think you'll find that they are the same. 360 slightly better. 360's have room for improvement. Least thats what a site said when i was researching them a while back |

You should check out the titles man. Wii = intuative, but as titles and longevity go, lame. I've played it round a friends, and I was bored after 2 hours. I have two friends who have them, and both are now in the process of selling them. PS3 = Intesting, its got a built in blu-ray player which seriously makes the price more realistic, if you consider the price of your average player, it kinda makes the ps3 a bargain. But that depends on if you want to go down that path or HD DVD, which brings me neatly onto... Xbox360 = I've heard that this console has some great titles going for it and some great future prospects going. Halo 3 promises to be a blast. And interactive content and exculsive content seems to seperate this for me a bit, for example, the 360 version of the next GTA will have exclusive extra content for 360 owners etc. Beta tests of halo 3 were recently announced and trialed, 500 million (I think) has been set aside for 360 owners by microsoft for repair and replacement to ensure excellent customer service, from what I know so far, its pretty damn good. But personally, I'd wait till there was something REALLY worth buying a console for, for example, I wont think of getting a 360/PS3/Wii until the next Halo/Final fantasy or Tekken/LoZ comes out. Dont waste your money. I'm still playing metal gear solid on an emulation for gods sake, old games are still good! |
