Looks good mate but personally I'd go the intel route, I've got this motherboard which is pretty future proof-ish (PC2-6400, max 1333 fsb) XFX nForce 650i Ultra MCP Socket 775 onboard 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard - quickfind code: 128568 - £65 And some processor to go with it, although the cheapest decent Core 2 duo is £75 :/ so I dunno. |

intel eh?...never really considered intel as an option...just dont trust the slimy buggers...(i've never had an intel chip) the core 2 duo's have a much better bang for your buck/pound than amd's at the moment |

Yep intel ftw for the moment. Might want to check more about the graphics card there was a thread on here about problems between them and MS new direct X. I'd look at samsung spinpoint drives as well they aint bad, and might be faster. 4Gb yeah poss overkill what are you using the pc for? Also 30 for a case plus PSu, I wouldnt trust the quality of the PSU at all at that price. |

E6750 ftw @ 117 quid at Microdirect (special offer). Do those prices include vat? (the e6750 does). |

Ah yes, I see people have also gone for the Intel option, and also, I didn't notice the 4gb, that is extreme overkill, and tbh also I wouldn't trust the value ram, even though I've never had problems in the past, it's still not worth it. Go for 2GB of RAM.. |
