The Core 2 Duo are awesome priced and they give awesome performance. well, apparently (these are my mates words) Athlon's are better for gaming but Intel are much better for multiple applications...and if this is true ill go for the athlon as this laptop i have now is only a month old and has a 3.33 core 2 duo...soo i can use the pc for gaming and this for other things. im not choosing the Athlon for it being cheaper, just thought it was better for what i wanted P.S. cheers to everyone giving advice here and suggestions, its much appreciated that information is old intel cheaper than athlons, outperform them in gaming and pretty much everything else afaik. |

ok dokey...intel it is...tbh, the list he's created for me will proably be the one, allthough im still going for the antec 900 ultimate gaming case, reviews say its good (it was even mentioned in the review for the card simon suggested) and i love the looks also...apparently with that card you really need a psu bigger than 500w?? (again from the reviews on microdirect) |

Enermax ftw~ and if you want, you could pay the extra and get the 620Watt. I use that on my 8800GTS. But, agreed with the case... I just picked one that was reasonably priced, looks pretty good and had some good airflow. Happy buying and yes... the Intel kicks AMDs technology's out the boat. |
