I'm going to buy a digital camera soon and not sure which is better, having a rechargeable Lithium Ion inside the camera, where I can just plug it into the mains and charge it, or just have AA batteries?

Which ones benefits out way the other ones?

lithium batteries are much better, they last much longer and you dont have to keep replacing them. AA batteries dont last very long at all, and even the rechargable ones need to be replaced frequently, for best peformance and lowest cost, lithium definetly 8)

Make sure they're removeable...not the gh3y built in ones....

Personally, my camera has 4 high performance rechargeable AA's. If I go out for some photography, they'll last me the day, although I do take spares, just incase.

Lith packs ftw though.
