Gents ... Daughter wants a laptop for crimbo wondered if your upgradeing your old one and want to move it on
shes 13 and wants it for music .. videos. utube ... maybe a sims game and the net ....
but cant be shit as its a pressy ... or maybe you know of a website that is best for laptops ... i dont mind Dells myself
this is the strange bit im not paying for it its the "ex bitch" so im not sure what she will pay at the mo .. will update asap

Well... the £600 range is usually pretty good. So you should be able to find one that will load and run a crapload of stuff at a nice smooth speed. Just the graphics are usually a bit wankey..

As for the "ex bitch" part... just tell her its £800... if she says its too much, say you found the cheaper one. If not, keep the extra as overhead. :twisted:

Just looked around a bit and found two that are roughly around 600-700. But thats mainly if you want lolVista installed when you buy.


This one is better. I think this would be my choice of purchase to be honest.

But this one is cheaper obviously, but has a slightly larger screen and resolution. But its probs more than suitable to do the job for your daughter.

All great apart from Vista, if it had XP on it, it would be fine. Although just read plugging a usb key drive in can help.
