right...basically I was hoping a couple of you kind geeks could help me out here  .

I had made a list of pc parts i was planning on buying to build one...unfortunately I didnt get enough money, soo i need somebody to make a list of budget parts
that will handle CS:S/HalfLife2/bf1942/DC...etc...for about 300-400 (maximum) squid. no peripherals...
just the tower unit. but, I want this case: Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case

The other thing is..i already have a power supply (woot for freecycle (some guy bought a new case
and didn't need the power supply that came with it)) soo ive got an atx 350W psu that cost me
nout...and as I aint after a super computer i figured this will be sufficient??

what im thinking is this:

Case - Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - £69.99
PSU - ATX 350W thing i already have
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20GHz - £74.93

and thats all i know about

soo really what im asking for is a MOBO (preferably crossfire ready), 2 gig ram and ATI gfx card (that can handle the above games and work in crossfire) for £160-260

what i plan to do is build this...then when i get some money buy a better psu then graphics card or another of the same...

the lower the amount of money needed the better (as i actually only have £220 but can
wait a bit to save up more money)

i hope im not asking too much, and cheers to anyone who helps.

P.S. i'm also open to anybody selling any hardware after getting new stuff for
christmas 8)

The only thing I'd say is that you'll probably need a better PSU :(

If it's a quality one you might get away with 350W but it's quite likely that it will need upgrading.

Btw, that case kicks ass. Bought it myself a couple of months ago and it's really good :D

I never understand the urge to spend cash on an expensive case... least important part imo! Personally i think you've got priorities the wrong way around.

Buy a cheaper but functional case, and then buy a reasonable PSU. Doesn't need to be awesome, a 450w Antec should be fine.

So cheap case:

Decent PSU:

One reviewer for that psu says it's got 2 12v rails, with a total of 34A output for them - so it should power your gfx card as well as other items with reasonable ease.

It's the only part of the computer other people will see...and I've loved the nine hundred since
I first seen it...had my heart set on it since then really

as for the power supply...that will get upgraded as soon as i get another 40 quid or something.
ill probably buy an 800W or something stupid to futureproof it.

I still stick by the antec sonata III lur - it looks way better than the 900 (discrete style > pimping lights), costs the same but comes with a 450W power supply. If you going to be buying something later, make it the case - you don't _need_ a good case now, but you do need a good PSU
