Have been looking for an external Hard drive for my uni laptop, so far have found

seems to be the best value for money. Will only be holding music and lab reports stuff like that. Was wondering what yous thought of it.

Seems alright :), similar to the one I was going to get at one point. Go for it, google some reviews from it first to see if it's got any flaws.

That has an ac adaptor which is a bit of a pain if you are carrying it around. You might want to look at ones that are powered by the usb connection. That dont have the same capacitcy and cost a bit more but are very handy you dont have to stuff around with finding a power supply to run it.

Agree with Sleeper if youre going to carry it around a lot get one of the 3.5 inch USB jobs, cost more per GB but so much handier for slipping in a pocket and carrying around. Have a freecom one not the toughdrive and its always in use.
