to be honest... I have an 8800GTS 640MB @550MHz... I don't run it on axed out grahpics because I start to notice lag etc although I do run it at 1680x1050. ITs near maxed out, but still looks freakin awesome. I looked at it on the lower settings and to be honest... it still looked pretty damned wicked. So if it runs on medium settings in native resolution nicely... you should be well made up. I think that card is AGP too... if so then your major priority should be upgrading to PCI-e x16.. mainly because old tech will cost you alot more and a new PC won't actually cost a huge amount unless you go for top end parts. Could probs build a nice rig that will run anything you throw at it nicely for about £600. Run anything you want hand down near top spec (usually top spec) lookin about £1000. |

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132027 Cheaper. Although paying an extra £3 for the heatpipe might not be a bad investment, so go for that one instead, unless you wanna get a pint for that £3 . |
