I want a secondhand diesel Golf or A3, preferably from a dealer with full service history and logbook, etc. Hilariously, I have a budget of £8k :roll: Any advice...?

Yeah take with you a mate whos role it is to say "hmmm I wouldn't, look at that <Insert fault here>". Basically trying to talk you out of it.

If it was me buying, I'd go for a Golf rather than an A3 :thumbr:
